While mother nature has been doing her best to shake us to the core, here at The Gov we’ve been working hard with a huge week of announcements and there’s absolutely no sign of things slowing down. It’s all crazy, but it’s what we love - bringing great music to all of your ears.

We’re also excited to once again support the South Australia Living Artists Festival, with an exciting exhibition, Steel Life, on show in the Fireplace Room through August.

An en masse, karaoke sing along. A celebration of live music group karaoke style as everyone in the room joins in singing the best rock and pop hits of our time.  An awesome live band plays all your favorite tunes, with lyrics projected on big screens for all to see. No spotlights, no microphones, it’s an all in sing-song everyone can enjoy.
Special Family shows feature songs from Disney classic’s like “Let It Go” (Frozen) and “Happy” by Pharrell Williams to pop diva sensation’s Taylor Swift and Katy Perry. Mums and Dads join in with their kids, everyone singing and dancing their tiny hearts out. Perfect for the entire family to celebrate live music together during the July School holidays.
Adult shows take the night up a gear as you travel though a musical time machine with all the big hits we know and love. We provide the songs, you sing along. Whether you share the evening with your teenage children or your best friends, everyone is a singing sensation on the dance floor.

Viva Colombia - 23 Jul

Latino Grooves proudly presents Viva Colombia, the annual Colombian Independence Day Fiesta Saturday 23 July! An annual institution now in its 11th year, Viva Colombia is the mother of all parties!
Prepare yourself for a MEGA Latino fiesta -  Colombian-style - with Adelaide’s premier Latin band Soul Macumbia, Colombian Salsa Champion Juan Carlos Ospina & Laura Franco (COL/VIC), Latino Grooves dancers and Colombian DJs Hugo Salcedo & Cali.
Led by ex-pat Colombian musician Hugo Salcedo, Soul Macumbia band will pay homage to the many vibrant rhythms of Colombia including Cumbia, Salsa, Champeta, Vallenato, tambores and gaitas from the greatest musical Colombian icons such as Carlos Vives, Joe Arroyo, Juanes, Toto La Momposina, Shakira and more! The result? An irresistible and sizzling hot Latin cocktail that will get any party started.
Spectacular dance performances by World Salsa Champion from Cali, Colombia Juan Carlos Ospina and Laura Franco plus Latino Grooves dancers!
Adelaide’s best Latino DJs Hugo Salcedo & Cali will close the night with an opulent mix of the best Salsa, Bachata, Cumbia, Merengue, Cha Cha Cha and more.
Warm up and get into the grooves with a free, introductory dance class from 8:30pm.

Fans of vintage guitar rock will immediately fall in love with his new album Black Gold. From soft, dynamic Blues ballads to heavy, low-tuned Rock anthems, Eric’s signature guitar style is front and center. No pedals, samples or drum machines. No apologies for turning it up to 11.  This is rock the way they used to make it.
