Get ready for an electrifying evening as The Gov proudly presents a showcase of Adelaide’s finest local bands. Experience the unique sounds and vibrant energy of: 

Tapleys Hill is a four-piece band blending shoegaze, Midwest emo, and alt rock into a melodic grunge sound. Each member brings a unique story and influence, creating passionate and dynamic music. After playing several gigs around Adelaide in 2023, they aim to record and release new material in 2024.

Established in late 2022, Stiff Necks is a four-piece band from Adelaide known for their energetic, raucous live performances. With a sound rooted in Aussie pub rock, they win over crowds with their authentic charm and witty humour, staying true to their South Australian roots.

Wasting Time is an alternative rock band formed in 2019. Initially performing covers, the band re-emerged in2022 with a new lineup and a focus on original indie rock. Influenced by Arctic Monkeys and Foo Fighters, they debuted their single "What You Need" and continue to perform around Adelaide.

Overnight Oats offers a polite blend of indie rock with pop-punk and emo flavours. Simple and delicious, their sound is locally sourced from Kaurna/Adelaide.
